Randy Schmor has served as the Gateway Director for the North American Baptist Conference for 20+ years; personally supporting, coaching and working with churches as they begin to explore long-term global partnerships in general and Sister Church Partnerships in particular. Additionally, he has led and trained short-term mission teams to multiple countries for over three decades. He is also on the board of MissionWorks (which now has the oversight of the ‘7 Standards of Excellence in Short-Term Mission’). These ‘standards’ are used to empower others with the knowledge and skills of how to build appropriate and thriving global partnerships. Randy has also just taken on the role as NAB Central Europe Field Director (for Hungary and Serbia) as of January 2024. He is happy to be newly appointed as the Interim Vice President of International Missions for the NAB, having a heart to partner with others worldwide and to serve the global church and the Kingdom of God. Randy also loves hockey and cheers for the Green Bay Packers.
